A total of 820mice consisted of ICR, ddy, C57BL, and KK strains was examined to observe the aspects of sponrancous myelogenous leukemia by strain, sex, and age with gross, microscopic, and electron microscopic examination. In this studt myelogenous leukemia was observed in 12cases.
The results were as follows;
1. The incidence of myelogenous leukemia was prevalent in ICR male mice, order than 1 year.
2. The spleen was remarkably enlarged, and its mean size was 3.5+0.58×1.2+0.24㎝.
3. Histopathologically, the immature myelogenous cells were observed in the spleen, bone marrow, liver, heart, lung, brain, and kidney.
